Convenient for our journey, pool closed looked run down. Ice machine on our floor broken.

My husband + I got rerouted to Kamloops from Calgary trying to get into Vancouver. We originally thought we could stay overnight at the airport till our 6 am flight out. But staff told us that the airport closes down. They told us to go to Holiday Inn because they have a shuttle. When I called Holiday Inn - they were super helpful (especially Steve) and fast, efficient and made the detour very pleasant. The next morning Steve was our driver to drop us off and he shared some interesting facts about Kamloops that made us want to come again for an actual visit! Loved that the room had a mini fridge, microwave + kitchen sink! Bed was super comfy + bathroom was clean.

Got the tel number of a nurse offering a covid antigen test mobile service who came to the hotel at short notice at 8:30 pm, administered the test in the lobby & sent me the negative result with receipt for the $70.00 charge within 1 hour. Great service!

This hotel is very convenient to the Kamloops airport and the free shuttle is quick. They kept our car keys that had been dropped off and made check in very easy. We had a late dinner at the hotel, which was good too. it is quiet and I like the toiletries in the bathroom. They don’t skimp on conditioner for example. Our room was very clean.

Breakfast was amazing ! One of the best we experienced on our3-week Canadian road-trip.. Stay was very comfortable too. Location was close to shops, but quite a slow shopping centre. Good eateries around and ample parking. We also used the guest laundry which was convenient on a long trip.

About the price, I didn't realize that the Friday rate would be $150 more - I assume that's because it was the start of the Victoria Day weekend ??

The breakfast was good and they had a good variety just a bit too pricey.. Eg coffee was ,5 dollars for one cup!! Room service is only on request.. Staff at the Check in was friendly And accomadating

would have liked more options for breakfast- like just toast or eggs not such a filling breakfast - what we ordered was good but just not what we would have liked - the young gentleman on the evening front desk was exceptional

I haven’t stayed at a holiday inn before, but will be sure to look out for them again. So easy. Absolutely everything we could need was in the room. The restaurant was convenient, the staff were very helpful. We would stay there again.
